Marissa CookPhysician Assistant

Marissa Cook is a Physician Assistant specializing in neurosurgery at NeuroSpine Plus. She has been assisting in surgery and providing perioperative care alongside Dr. Scheid and Dr. Rasouli since graduating in January 2026.

A central New Jersey native, Marissa completed her Physician Assistant training at Kean University, where she first joined the NeuroSpine team during her clinical rotations. She then transitioned into the private practice after graduation, continuing her work with the same trusted team.

Outside of caring for her patients, Marissa maintains a very active and healthy lifestyle. She can most often be found in the gym, out on a run, or spending time with her fiancé and their two rescue dogs.
